About the Conference


The founder-president of the Armenian Philosophical Academy, Academician Georg Brutian, is the author of more than 60 monographic studies, textbooks, booklets, and over 200 articles, which have been published in translation in more than 20 countries worldwide.


Brutian’s conceptual approaches continue to remain relevant and are being developed by his students, followers, and contemporary researchers.


The scope of Georg Brutian’s academic interests includes philosophical logic and the philosophy of logic, transformational logic and the logic of transformations of thinking, semantics and dialogue, philosophy of language, mathematical logic, the relationship of logic with natural science and artistic consciousness, as well as the interrelation between logic and translation.


Brutian’s conceptual inquiries remain relevant today and continue to be developed by his students, followers, and others.


Within the framework of the conference, the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP) will organize a round table on the topic “Challenges of Cultural Identity.”


Thematic Areas of the Conference


The work of the conference will be organized in the following fields: philosophy, pedagogy, psychology, within the framework of which the following issues will be discussed:

  • Contemporary issues and development prospects of philosophy
  • Philosophy of science and methodology
  • Argumentation, logic, critical thinking
  • Critical thinking and artificial intelligence
  • Armenian studies and meta-Armenian studies
  • Contemporary issues of cultural anthropology
  • Education and culture in the context of philosophical understanding
  • Psychological issues in the field of education
  • Literature, language, and translation


Requirements for Submissions


Abstract: 200–400 words

Presentation duration: 20 minutes

Discussion (Q&A): 10 minutes
